Waking up with Bonnie

Mornings at the orphanage is my favorite time of day. Just as the sun begins to make its way into a new day and all is still calm. We are just waking up to new adventure and challenges that managing an exotic animal orphanage brings. This is when I feel the delight that comes from sharing this life with these primates and special exotics that are considered unplaceable in the eyes of a perfect world. Our special exotics have become dependent on us to make a life for them that is worth living.

Bonnie is a ten year old Java Macaque. She came to the orphanage in January of 2022.
